DRI Energy and its sister company, Lumeta (www.lumetasolar.com), share an exciting and rapidly expanding presence in the renewable energy industry.  Due to increasing markets and company growth, we are eager to fill the newly-created position of Business Analyst. This position offers a proven, highly-motivated individual the opportunity to conduct the critically important market research and analysis needed to position DRI Energy as the market leader.  Based out of our Irvine, California headquarters, the Business Analyst reports to the Vice President of Marketing with an indirect reporting line to the Chief Financial Officer.

Tell Me What I’ll Be Doing:
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to evaluate and improve company position in the BIPV industry.
  • Identify key competitors in each target market segment and for photovoltaic (PV) products.
  • Benchmark competitive product capabilities, offerings, cost structure and resource allocation for service and products businesses.
  • Track competitive module pricing on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with development of financial analysis tool.
  • Assess potential future target markets and work with product design team to evaluate solar product technologies.
  • Investigate European tile and BIPV markets, assess profitability and our means to meet specific standards.
  • Analyze the PV market to improve the company’s understanding of the entire supply chain and to identify potential market advantages, and provide forecasts to management.
Required Qualifications:
  • MBA (preferred concentration in Business, Marketing and/or Finance) OR two to three years of management consulting experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong financial, research and analytical skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient Internet based research
  • Ability to work independently, meet aggressive deadlines and successfully multi-task
  • Ability to challenge assumptions
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Knowledge of solar industry
  • International business experience
  • Multilingual (Spanish, French, German, Italian)
